Clift Body Shop Repair Process
-
-
Step 1: ESTIMATE PREPARED
We will contact your insurance company to see if they have prepared an estimate for our team or we will have one of our estimators inspect your vehicle to collect the necessary information to repair your vehicle. We will then discuss with you a time frame for completion and payment responsibilities
-
-
-
Step 2: ORDER PARTS
We then order the necessary parts for repair of your vehicle. Once the parts come in, we inspect each one to ensure they match the work order. Once the parts are received, we will update you with an estimated completion date.
-
-
-
Step 3: VEHICLE DISASSEMBLED
Your vehicle is then taken in and disassembled. During the disassembly, your vehicle is reassessed to make sure there isn't any additional damage to the vehicle that needs to be addressed. Any supplement damage is then considered and before proceeding, the additional repairs must be approved by you.
-
-
-
Step 4: BODY WORK
During this process, your vehicle undergoes structural and body repairs. Any framework that needs repairing is repaired, new panels are prepared and installed, and your vehicle gets primed, sealed, and corrosion protected. All work is then inspected, and initial tests are done. Once this is accomplished, it is ready to paint.
-
-
-
Step 5: PAINTING
During the painting process, your vehicle is first pressure washed and chemically cleaned. Then we prime, block and seal it for the paint booth. Your vehicle is then taped, bagged, masked, and blown off for our refinishing and painting process. After your paint is cured, your vehicle is inspected and then transferred back to the body shop to be reassembled.
-
-
-
Step 6: REASSEMBLY
The next step is to reassemble your vehicle back to factory specifications. During this process your vehicle also undergoes a thorough cleaning, and a final inspection. Lastly, we test drive the vehicle to make sure everything is in order and working properly.
-
-
-
Step 7: COMPLETION AND DELIVERY
Once your vehicle is thoroughly inspected, tested and cleaned, your vehicle is ready for pickup! We will contact you to confirm the pickup day and time.
